Camping in Devon, UK?
Try the Southwest Lakes Trust, a "charity" set up by Pennon, the Southwest Water company. I don't know when their season finishes this year, it is usually at the end of October. Look at a href="http://www.swlakestrust.org.uk" rel="nofollow"http://www.swlakestrust.org.uk/a . The charge is 6 (adult) a person per night, and toilets and shower blocks are on sites. Only Roadford is in Devon, Wimbleball is in Somerset, and the other three in Cornwall. These are designated camping sites, for tents or caravans, and there are a lot of school parties camping in the summer, so youngsters are welcome. Roadford campsite is attached to a water sports centre, so there is lots to do. No shop, but snack machine on site and a cafe also belonging to Southwest Lakes Trust about a mile away across the lake.
