Ovarian Pain, how long does it usually last after you ov?

I ovulated about 5 days ago and still am having pain on my left side. Could I still be ovulating, and if so, when will it stop? I am trying to get pg and think I am making myself feel pain unconsciously. I think I may be even pinpointing the pain b/c I want to be pg so bad. Does anyone else do this? I should be able to test by the 28th, do you think this is normal? Thanks
