Sit in Judgment against a Offender ?

I invite all to participate in this question, and please be honest my friends future is at stake.... He is a offender and has been charged with a CSL violation (community supervision 4 life) which carries an 18 mth. sentence if found guilty. My question is this... could you as a juror weigh the facts and judge him on only the facts that are presented, or would you be prejudice against him for being a offender and judge by your emotions ?
