Horses ingesting pine straw?

I was planning on decorating jumps and long story short my Fall themed jump would be complete if it included pine straw. I'm not even sure my horse would go to eat it (he is in a 10 acre field and 2 bales of pine straw shouldn't look too attractive compared to that gr). But if he did, would there be any serious repercussions?
