Okk then add him or not? HELPPP people please?

ok well there's this one guy that I like...and he knows it, but there was just a lot of stuff we had to straighten out. Looong story haha well anyway I was talking to him the other night and he said that if I really wanted to talk to him, then just add him (like on MySpace) but the thing is...I'm kinda scared to because honestly, he shouldn't have forgiven me (even though he did) for lying to him and stuff and idk if he's still mad about it. so what do you think? should I just talk to him and chance it? (after all he did kinda invite me to)
