Wouldn't it be better if upon having your answer selected as best answer instead of 10 points...?

That sounds like a *great* idea, but not very practical for Yahoo. For every question asked (thousands and thousands) there will be a 'best answer'. If someone has hundreds of 'best answers' (many have) the cost to Yahoo would be quite prohibitive. Also consider the sheer size of the Yahoo system and how long it takes to fix things up, and then you can see how difficult it would be to create and maintain that addition to the system. Still a great idea you came up with, and well worth a star from me!
