I have had rubbery lumps in my groin area for almost three years now with some other worries: cancer?

I have noticed the gradual appearance of more of these lumps in the groin region, which are slightly rubbery. I often find almost pimple-like swellings around this area that raise and lower closer to the time of my menstrual cycle. This, needless to say, has begun to freak me out. I have previously seen a doctor about the first ailment, who said that they were swollen lymph nodes, but that was nearly three years ago now, and are still there and are becoming more of a complaint. I have had a slight loss of appetite in the last few months that has seemed to come and gone frequently, but i have had a slight addiction to sugary substances and have gained a bit of weight though. The ribs around my right hand side beneath my arm are very slightly raised and tender and seem almost displaced when I am lying down. I also experience at times, sharp pains and stiffness in the ribs around that area, and I am sometimes short of breath, but whether that could be to do with my asthma, I am unsure.I am often tired very tired, but this may be because I am at uni, but I also get lightheaded at times. I know that I am probably reading way too much into this and freaking myself out, but I just wanted to ask somebody, before I go and freak my mum out unneccessarily. I am almost nineteen years old. Any advice to be given would be appreciated.
